In Jackson Hole, hiking is even simpler as the path often starts at the end of the driveway. With 97 percent of Teton County comprised of public lands that feature hundreds of miles of beaten paths and roads less traveled, almost anywhere can be considered a trailhead.

Jackson Hole is alive with the sound of music

Two summer concert series kicked off this recently, one on each side of the iconic mountain range that separates Jackson Hole from Teton Valley. The Fox Street All Stars headlined the first Music on Main event in Victor, Idaho, which also included local group Alta Boys. The other major concert series, promoted by Jackson Hole Live, began at the base of Snow King Mountain with Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real.

June is a great month to spotlight educational opportunities in Jackson Hole as 165 high school seniors received their diplomas in ceremonies held in recent weeks. The students attended one of four schools: Jackson Hole High School, Summit High School, Jackson Hole Community School and C-Bar-V Ranch.

In the summer, Snow King Mountain hosts a running race to the 7,808-foot summit. Beginning at the Town Square, runners and hikers take on the 2.1-mile course with top finishers finishing in less than 25 minutes.
